I'm more scared of Hampton than NN. Then again, I consider the part right on the otherside of the bridge(moniter & merimac) Hampton, and from what I was told, thats actually NN.
My area isn't bad. Thankfully. Some drug trafficin' but other than that nothing too bad.
unless you live in hampton, dont talk bad about it. Ive lived in hampton my whole life and my neighborhood backs into buckroe. buckroe is one of the more "ghetto" parts of hampton and i have NO problem walking down there at nights. I went to the most "ghetto" high school in hampton and i felt 100% safe there. Yes there is a high poverty level in hampton but that doesnt mean the peolpe are bad. Hampton has consistently had one of the lowest crime/murder rates in the country. It was an All-American city back in 2004 for what it is.
I would choose Hampton to live in over any city in South East VA.
