I dont know much about these new fangled tvs. All i know is that the blues are now turning purple on my CRT tv and its fuckin with me when I watch Deadliest catch and think their are pulling crab out of an ocean of Kool-aid.

I was told by a buddy that plasma is a BAD IDEA for playing video games because the possibility exists for the image to "burn" into the tv.

SO that leaves...dlp, umm...yea. I'm lost after that.

I've seen some "no name brands" go for good prices but I have no idea if they are actually good or not. I would ask the guys at a retail store but they may be a little biased.

I have an 360 elite w/ the HDMI cables so i want to be able to play my games in HD as well.


Basically, I want to spend $500 (less is better) for a 32" that I can mount on my wall.
