Wow, its not surprising you are from West Virginia. Cost....C-O-S-T....cost. You don't have a turbo either. Even if the engine was rebuilt a year ago, that doesn't mean a missing timing belt isn't going to destroy the head. $2600 won't get you much of a paint job. a full blown EMS will run about $1300, then you have to get it tuned and programed, so I'm sure the cost of a piggyback chip is far, far, less. That is unless you just don't know anything about the cost of 'racing chips' and got ripped off. A chip not programed for the mods, or lack there of, on your car, will do next to nothing.
