A Stock SRT-4 will run 12psi give or take. They do get as high as 14 or 15 psi, then trail off around 5k rpm back to 12psi. Some people are using a boost controller and a wastegate actuator to hold 15psi til redline. Waste of money I say.
The car goes lean if you start running over 16psi without the stage one.
But with the stage one You hold 15psi all the way to redline and get better a/f readings. The computer really does pull timing if you use a BC, its kind of neat to see that a computer can reconize this and make adjustments to keep the car safe. It is pointless to up the boost over the stage one, as we really need to upgrade the Sensors, which will be in the stage 2 upgrade.
The stock Surge Valve does not leak(at least not more than any of the other options out there), it is made to take on all three stages of Dodges upgrades. I have it, and do not have/have not had a problem with it.
