Just my observation.....take it with a grain of salt. Both cars are similar in many ways until one has to make a decision on how they plan on using the car. Any real Viper owner will tell you that it is not a great daily driver but instead a great weekend attention getter.....hence the lack of drink holders and traction control. I personally like both cars and came very close to getting the GTS Coupe until a very respected Viper SCCA driver (John Freeman) told me to get the Z06. So far I am happy that I get significantly better gas mileage, fanfuckingtastic performance and daily usability from this car. If I really wanted to wow people and get attention, then the Viper is by far a better choice.....it is a beautiful car. Is the vette perfect? Hell no.....my girlfriends G35 has nicer amenities and build quality. I think it's awesome that Dodge upped the ante after getting their ass whooped for the last three years. The consumer benefits from this horsepower war.

Take the time to read a pretty decent article from here:

This thread reads like a thread over on E46Fanatics, every piss ant that thinks they know. The very same thread appears over there in the M3 forum and some jackass believes that an M3 is the ultimate racing car ever made. When you start stacking performance numbers the discussion quickly turns to how much better the interior is. In the end you find out that:
A. They do not own the car, but Dad, brother, cousin, or family friend does.
B. 16-18 years old and it was a birthday present.

They are now experts in the performance, handeling, and the finer point of interior design. Somehow the very car that they drive crushes everything in existance, and the sole reason it is better is because the amount of people who walk up to it when you park it. Wow, you get people to walk up to your car when you park it..... So does my Camaro, but I hardly would believe it is because it is better.
So Rich in closing next time you purchase a performance car, you should pick the one that draws more of a crowd in a parking lot, not that weak ass shit you drive now! OMF for the win...
