you said you checked the distributor but the 7mgte doesn't have one it has a cam position sensor and 3 coilpacks the 7mge has a distributor but anyway i would check the ground strap that comes off the coil pack,also check you cam timeing and cps to make sure it is propperly installed and your timing is all messed up.
