Fabricating a rear suspension setup is one of the fun things you'll have to do. Trailing arms aren't what you really want to use for a driven wheel..
Axles should be pretty easy, you can get some hybrids custom made so the splines match up.
I remember it sounded like quite a chore to put a CRV AWD system in an Integra (remember that swap?) and that was a drop-in engine swap and only drivetrain modifications.
I still want to do a RWD Suby engine swap (with a Hewland transaxle in the back, mounted Corvette style) into a Civic or something like that. It should fit with enough trunk room. I think..
LOL, i know there are gonna be alot of nights in the garage where i am gonna wanna give up, but i got a vision man.
Im gonna rig the suspension components off the DSM onto the civic somehow. Gotta get the parts in hand before i can start thinking though.
