(first off, sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead lol, but over the past month and a half my academics were getting too time consuming and I had no time to browse the forums but I wanted to respond to these just so it didn't seem like yall scared me away.)
Personally, I don't know why people talk shit about neons, I'm a big fan of the SRT4's!! Ok so I see a few more females driving them than males but what ever, I don't know what model you have but unlike what some enthusiasts say about neons, I like 'em! As for buying a cavalier for a performance car??....I didn't, my 94 escort got totalled a few years back and my now deceased grandfather helped me find a new car, the Cavalier was the first good deal that came by and I really wasn't that in to cars at the time. I have no shame in admitting Cavaliers are not performance cars but the whole reason I began modding was 1) my friends were all into it, and 2) I learned that a few basic mods like an intake could increase my gas mileage and with going to college 4 hours away from home, the trips back and forth could use some decent fuel economy.
