Do a boost leak test. Don't throw money at a problem it just makes you spend more money. Get a silicon hose kit to replace all the rubber hoses and zip tie them down. Do you have a boost gauge? If so are you hitting full boost? I can not stress this enough. DO A BOOST LEAK TEST. Weak wastegates in MKIVs usually don't allow you to hold boost to redline however you can still hit full boost.
