yeah you have to find the "sweet spot" to break hard enough not to lock em up but if you can you can normall stop faster with out abs
thats def true if its just driving in typical traffic and someone stops fast. but its sometimes the natural reaction to stomp the brake when somone cuts you off or you need to very suddenly stop before you rear end someone.
with abs you can stomp the brakes and still turn the wheel and get out of the way.
without abs..youre in shits creek. theyre gonna lock up and you cant turn away from it. especially if youre tires are bad
