You can take the advanced right after the basic if you want. I guess you'd be ready when you've got your license and your own bike as they don't provide a bike for you like they do in basic. It mainly goes over some of the things they teach you in basic but with more time and emphasis into what they go over. so basically once i get my bike and get used to it... go and take the advanced?
