All the Hondas meaning those two? Wow, there are a few more than that out there, and they pack a lot more power than those two.
But whatever, it's cool. He beat two of the obviously slow turbo Hondas in the world. Everyone needs an ego boost sometimes. Every fanboy has some friend with whatever car that can supposedly decimate every other car that you can possibly race it against. Who the fuck cares? Your imaginary buddy is going to get beat by some other Cobalt, and then that Cobalt is going to get destroyed by a Nissan or Honda or whatever other non-Cobalt car. Beating two cars doesn't mean anything, except that you should get your balls cut off for street racing and bragging about it.
Everyone on this forum either has or knows someone who has 400-600 HP turbo Hondas, Nissans, SRT-4s, WRXs, whatever, most of which would pound most of the Cobalts out there. The fact is that bragging about some 250-300 HP Cobalt doesn't impress anyone, even if it can beat a low boost LS swap CRX. I can beat a lot of turbo Hondas in my WRX, but I don't brag about it being fast because it's not. It's just slightly faster than some other cars. I will easily get my ass handed to me by most of the other modified WRXs (and STis) here in Colorado, as well as most of the turbo Hondas that I know in VA. There's big power out there everywhere, and your buddy doesn't have it.
It's all relative; both you and your buddy are fooling yourselves thinking that you have something special. Be proud of what you have, but don't try to turn it into something it's not. Saying Cobalts are fast because you beat two Hondas makes you look like an idiot. I'm sure both of those Honda drivers have beaten other cars also, probably a Cobalt or Crapalier, and they might even think their Hondas are fast. Again, everything is relative.
