yep, and so does the GM race team using the grand prix GTP auto trany in their 1800hp 4cyl fwd drag cars. more and more teams are going to automatics these days for drag racing purposes. thats all im really going to be doing is straight line racing. i suck balls at autoX and all that other crap.

there really isnt much of a dif. i race a friend stock for stock, his cobalt was manual, mine automatic. he finished with a 16.714 and i finished the 1/4 with a 16.718. not that big of a differance
