Whoever did that swap should be kicked in the nuts. They should never give a car back to a customer with such obvious problems, not to mention that with exposed wiring you're probably going to destroy whatever electronics those wires are attached to. That's absolutely inexcusable, and no one can possibly argue with that. Never go near whoever did that swap, and never have them do any work for you again.
