The main problems I heard were them blowing out after ~4 months and the fact that a shop tested the dampening and it was different from one to the other. That's like riding around on 4 different types of brands. That doesn't sound very fun.
Maybe I was one of the luckier ones then IDK. I know the S2000/Type R kits come with very high spring rates ( 10K/lb?), maybe that is why mine never blew out. I know for a fact that the car would come off the ground before those springs would let the shock bottom out or compress too fast. It happened a few times out in Pungo and on the back roads in Williamsburg . Fun feeling knowing the car is in the air. I had a blast with them.
