get an attorney, PERIOD, no arguements, reckless is a class 1 misdeameanor, I'd rather pay $1500-$3000 for a lawyer/fine rather than have a criminal record.
I've gotten 2 recklesses in 1 year and had them both reduced to improper driving which is just 3 points and not a misdeamenor, believe me it might be a lot of money now, but what's more important, money or your life ?
