if your looking for a place on the peninsula check out Bay Custom Auto on Denbigh blvd. The guys do excellent work and put 15% all around on my WRX w/ no questions asked. I had to sign paper work stating i knew the tint was illegal and they weren't responsible for legal issues. I think they charged me 120$

I got two tint tickets before i had it removed but i think both times they were "unusual" situations. The first time it was a rookie cop and his supervisor in a median and the traffic was moving really slow, so it wasn't easy to spot that my tint was dark as hell. When the pulled me the supervisor walked the rookie through the ticket writing process so i think they were looking for an easy target for him to learn on.

The second time i got a flat tire and while i was changing it a state trooper snuck up on me and gave me a tint ticket. He didn't even ask if i needed any help, he just took the measurement, wrote the ticket and took off.
