Default Re: 2008 Tidewater Sports Car Club autocross schedule

Everyone has to start somewhere, and everyone was in your shoes when they first started out.
The best thing to do is sign up and actually do it; but let whoever know that you're a novice and they should provide you someone to walk the course with and ride with you giving pointers and whatnot.

Besides signing up the week before and paying the entry fee, what do I have to know or do to race? Are helmets and numbers and everything provided beforehand? Is there time between each heat for everyone to walk the course, or would I need to come early to help set up? As coincidence has it, I work at Little Creek, so base access isn't an issue.

Edit: goddamn, that road is on the border with Tennessee... never mind.
"The Dragon" has become quite the attraction too, its very known to the local fuzz what goes on down there.
