Re: Who Has The Most Bad Assed Car In Central?
The necessities to excel in one aspect detract from the ability to excel at another. You can't have your cake and eat it no matter how badly you may want to. If you want to handle well, you're going to sacrifice straight line acceleration and vice versa. It's an inherent give and take situation. Some may lust for the extreme of one aspect, others for the extreme in another, and others for a well-balanced blend of characteristics. To each his own, I say. That's why there are hundreds of models of vehicles. Every one meets a niche that another may not be intended to cater to. If we all had the same taste, life would be pretty boring. We've all been at this argument for at least 3 years now, maybe longer. I lost track a while back. I say its time we all agree to disagree, respect one another for the differences that make this hobby so diverse, and leave the chest thumping competitions for the closed-minded to settle amongst themselves. So the long of the short of it (or is that the short of the long of it?), is that there are many extremely nice rides in this area that are built with all sorts of purposes in mind. In the end, they've all got a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money invested into them and should be appreciated for what they are, not scrutinized for what they aren't.
