Don't do it yourself unless you have prior experience, or this will possibly turn into an expensive project. You should be able to get it done for less than $50, its not a hard install and does't take very long. I used to do those but I live in Colorado now. It's actually only two more steps (notching the ECU case and installing the 4 pin header) than regular chipping. I used to do S300 installs in under half an hour plus a few more minutes to notch the case.
