You do realize th bank statement says where the account is held....try it in e city and see what happens...
As in what SpeedJunkie mentioned, NC law states a bank statement will work to establish residency. If VA law says you can use a bank statement to prove residency then
you can get a license here. It just has to have a VA address.
First time i was going to do this, it took 10 min to change my address to a friend's house in Raleigh. Once i got a copy of the statement they mailed i just needed to drive to Elizabeth City DMV to activate.
In reality, i never made it down so I had my friends write a lease for me and fax it up here. I now have a lease for a place in NC that i just need to date when i'm ready. It's really not that hard of a concept.
