Ok so heres the story, like a dumb ass I let my motor run low on oil and now it has a knock. I'm getting ready to pull it out and rebuild. The motor itself has less than 15,000 miles and if it matters its a 4g63. So heres my questions.

1. Are my rings still good or should I replace them?
2. What kind of machine work should I do to the block, such as honing the cylinders and whatnot?

and any suggestions on parts would be appreciated as well, like who makes the best bearings, or any other details I should be concerned about.
