Thoughts on a Machine shops in the area?
What are some of the better (read: reliable, turnaround time and knowledgeable) machine shops in the area for 4663’s? By in the area I mean within 100-200 miles of Roanoke.
Also, I’ve never had anything done at a machine shop so what type of cost should I be looking at for cleaning, bore, hone(with torque plate), deck and any other little odds and ends.
Is it worth having a machine shop assemble your bottom end?
