with pits, i believe they aren't recognized with the AKC or CKC (possibly CKC, but am unsure, dont quote me) so papers normally arent that big of a deal with potential owners....
other dogs...i.e. English bulldogs fetch a MUCH prettier penny, like thousands more, if papers are present.
Their allowed registration only if the dog has parents registered as AmStaffs from the UKC.
That was the rule awhile ago not too sure if it's changed.
