You might want to check on this- Geico will replace or repair windshields for free, regardless of deductible; I've had my windshield repaired twice by Safelife at no cost to me, and my rates have never gone up. I don't know if it applies to side/rear windows, or if your insurance company has a similar policy. You might get a better negotiated price, even if they don't cover it.
