Or earlier S2000s, for example, and how their front bumpers don't match the rest of the car in color. Any other car manufacturer would be run through the ringer, but no... not Honda. That's just one of those cute little perks of that car.

Because they built shit in the late 70's and all of the 80's for the most part. So the perceived reliability of an American car is poor.
Same with Jaguars. That car has not been reliable since its inception. Never mind that the new ones grab top spots on the JD power customer satisfaction surveys, never mind that they now have ford running gear and denso electronics. People still think it’s an unreliable car.
Shit I could go and on and on.
Mercedes has always been surrounded by its clout and prestige. A tank of a car with superior reliability. And again the perceived reliability of that car is fantastic...don’t mind that most MB's these days are utter piece of shits...sigh
