Most HID kits will look identical due the fact that it is the standard size and system setup use overall. If it looked like a donut it wouldn't make sense for its identity. The type of material and parts used to create them is the actual product. if you looked and some hid kits , there cheap cables , you cut them up and they don't even have a rubber protection around them. Water goes in the cables and messes up the ballast. For example if you look at Jason's slim kit, the red cable is protected with rubber around the plastic ( the red is plastic rubber) so when you connect the cable it seals. I do not have a pic but maybe Jason can upload it so show you or maybe its somewhere in this thread. Bump for you
