It's the BOV. That BOV sticks really badly. Back in the day, I tried two different ones on my WRX with many different turbo/intercooler combinations and they both pretty much sucked. Get a HKS and that will fix your problems (and sound better too).
What all was done to your subie? Pics if you got them. Also Heiss...i asked you about your tranny with your WRX on another forum a while back and you never answered it. Im maybe thinking about going with the 18g, how did your tranny feel at about 300whp? Im going with a bigger turbo, injectors and fuel pump with a conservative tune, but im really only worried about the tranny.
