Furthermore, I and many others around have/do put their lives on the line so that a kid can sit in the parking lot and say what he feels at the moment as long as he's not hurting someone else. To say "You shouldn't talk to anyone or speak your mind because you deserve to get shot if you do" is just absurd.
As far as practicing being smart, he's still here isn't he? Smart enought.
Not smart is pulling a gun in a parking lot full of people, some of whom are law abiding citizens with concealed weapons permits.
I never blamed supa for doing anything or said he was wrong in any way. I never condoned the actions of the guy with the gun either. My comment was stating that just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean it's in your best interests to do so. There are plenty of people out there who don't follow the law and won't respect you just because you do. Just because a beautiful female has the right to walk down dark alleys at night alone in a bad neighborhood doesn't mean it's a good fucking idea.
And someone smacking me with a door is a completely different issue. Supa didn't get assaulted before he made his comment. It's... "Hey, some stranger is acting stupid in a parking lot. Let me confront him publically with a group of people here with me who don't like him either." It's not always about right and wrong... right and wrong matters in the court room after your funeral. And just because someone isn't pointing a gun at you yet doesn't mean it's not about survival.
I agree... Supa was right, accord boy was wrong. But that's not at all what I'm talking about.
