well, your location of your EGT guage has MUCH to do with temps.

~1250 is normal for a turbo honda, especially tapped in the right place. on the #3 runner about 1/2" from the head. more fuel will cool the temps more, as well as a larger FMIC, but 1250ish sounds about normal.
