afc's work for small hp applications, true. they just manipulate o2 signal. o2 sensors only carry a weight of like +/- 5% to the overall fuel map. if you are going to do radical things like lots of boost an afc will quickly run out of tunability. ESPECIALLY on factory n/a cars like hondas. factory turbo cars at least have the benefit of boost enrichment fuel mapping.
AFC doesnt manipulate an O2 sensor signal it alters the Airflow signal and is a proven tool to make as much power as you want, bascily until to need a bigger range than 50%
