As much as it sucks, just a FYI you can be charged for discharge of a firearm and go knows what else if it is in response to protecting personal property.
However if they charged at you to attack you then you ahve the right to defend yourself.

Yes that is what I have been under the impression of.. And my fathers whole side of the family is Police for Prince William.. They told me that if someone charges at you then you have the right to fire,
NOW HERES THE CATCH You better for damn sure be 21 and own that firearm.. Having a concealed weapons permit is even better. Thats the whole reason I am going to take my gun out there.. Im not gonna run out there and shoot them, Im going to hold them there till the POlice arrive.
