I got into this same argument with a coworker. I don't know why some people just can't wrap their brain around the fact that 3,300lbs/638hp > 3,800lbs/480hp. These same fanboys don't seem to have a hard time understanding why a 300hp civic hatchback is faster than a 300hp Mustang or Camaro. But the physics of less weight + more power don't seem to apply when it is to the advantage of the domestic car.
