I take the bus to work. $3.00/day, 5 days/week = $15/week to get to work and back home.Total mileage from my house to work round trip is 50 miles. Plus traffic headaches, no HOV, yada yada yada ... I say I make out in the end.

Plus, when I board the bus, I always get a nice 40 min nap to work and from work.

$4.09/gallon @ 23mpg x 2 = ~$8.18/day x 5 = $40.90/week in gas ideally because it's 23mpg highway

But with traffic, I would suspect it's closer to $70/week vs the bus @ $15/week
