i've lived worked in various parts of richmond all my life, and it's not that bad. whatever age i was, i always had something to do in this town. if you think there's nothing to do in richmond, then the scope of the activities you're looking for must be very limited.

and vcu is a decent school. granted; there's no football, but that's whatever. you say anyone can get accepted into vcu? that's probably true, but less than a third of students graduate due to weed-out classes and because most people are unaware of the opportunities vcu can provide. that's why vcu has a fair amount of money in surplus to spend on buying property in richmond and renovating the school.

rydnlow: btw, you mentioned the greek community at vcu. are you greek by chance? not many people/students even mention vcu's greek system when talking about the school unless they are a part of it.
