) but shops like that Kramer etc. don't do certain things and you can't bring in parts usually.

People don't want you bringing your own parts and charge more for labor because they can't stand behind the parts and people want to complain about it when the parts fail and think the shop should put it on a second time for free.
Go to McDonalds and ask them to make you a hamburger with the beef you bought somewhere else.
Edit: Ask to bring your own heart to a heart transplant.
