Re: wrangler lifted
Sweet, I've only had the thing for a month and already had to dump $1,940 (and counting) just to keep it running normal. I thought the only problem was the 4 low didn't work?
1) only 2 bolts were holding the tranny to the motor and one of those bolts were so short that they were being held in by two threads.
2) rigged up ass exhaust fell out of the bottom of the jeep while driving down general booth
3) the slave cylinder that was "replaced", was infact either not replaced or the person that replaced it didn't know what they were doing because it had to be replaced AGAIN
4) the master cylinder was shot and just replaced
5) the throw-out bearing had to be replaced
6) the pressure plate was half-ass installed and was replaced due to damage
7) the speakers were not hooked up because they were blown and had to put new speakers in.
8) the only ''cheap'' thing that needed fixed was the 4-low. actually it didn't need to be fixed, I cut out about 2'' from the floor board and dropped the transfer case 2.5'' and the 4 low can now go into gear with no problem.
9) the new brakes were not new. the pads were long gone and so were the rotors up front. The jeep is still sitting and I haven't had time yet to fix that because of fundage so actually I'm well over $2,000.
I'm sure there are alot more things that are coming my way that will need fixed and I will be sure to list them on here so that people know better than to buy shit from someone that temporarily rigs things up just to sell it.
