You are fine to buy a wrangler, just make sure it's not lifted and the owner is atleast middle aged. I screwed up and bought a lifted wrangler from a kid that works at a used car dealership. I've had three yj wranglers and my first two were in excellent shape with the stock wheels and little tires still on them. Those are the ones you need to look for.
