The worst part about Porsches is the sterotype At least they're relatively rare in 757, if they were as ubiquitous as mustangs or corvettes, I'm not sure it would have the same "exotic" appeal.

You'll run into assholes in any kind of car. I mean, they wouldn't be buying a porsche if they didn't think it was the best car for them, would they? It's hard not to compare cars when shopping. I test-drove a Miata, Z4, Solstice, S2000, Corvette, Boxster and finally Boxster S and believe me- every time I sat in a new car I was very consciously comparing it to the others. I wasn't making up bullshit like the OP is talking about, though; more like "Good god, anything who's over 6' and says they 'fit' in this S2000 should sit in a fucking corvette some time to find out what the word 'fit' really means!"

BTW, I like corvettes and know full well there are faster cars than mine. But oh, it's such fun to drive!
