What kind of fuel pump are you using? Are you sure the fuel pump is cutting off or are you just low on fuel. A friend was having the same problem with an aftermarket fuel pump. The problem was the fuel sending unit was saying he had more gas than he did so the car was running out of gas. Put more gas in it and the problem was solved.
