yea... i just kinda scanned over it for the most part. Was thinking.. ok.. its like a regular trans pull. I did not realize that the release berring was pretty much attached to the pressure plate. Then even when everybody said to pull the release fork. I was looking for some way to unbolt it. who would have thought it just pulls right out like that.

Crazy. but I did take a few pictures of how I did it. It was actually fairly simple. I had it back together in no time. I would have to say that I think that it was probably easier and faster than dropping the subframe. If I would have had that car on a lift. It could have probably had it done in a few hours.

Does the stock header prevent you from pulling the trans? Or do they just suggest pulling it to drop the motor. I pulled the motor mounts and motor mount brackets and dropped the engine with the manifold turbo and downpipe still on. Even left the O2 sensor in it.

I also ran into the problem that the shifter bushing was broken into 3 pieces. I ended up taking a inch of 3/8" water line and shoving it on the end of the shifter. It actually fit really well. Shifts great.

I will post some pictures of it later.
