My post was concerning the people who are innocent or trying to act responsibly and get arrested and convicted. You were caught driving after drinking and are lucky that you got off, or didn't get in a wreck in kill someone.
uh drinking responsibily? there is a reason there is a .08 BAC as the "legal limit"
i've grown up in a family atmosphere were at gatherings people socially drink (responsibly) and get in their cars and drive home with their families.

apparently not. dd doesn't mean you can't drink if you're over the age of 21, from my understanding the law allows
responsible adults to consume alcohol up to (not at) the legal limit, considering the legal limit doesn't have you toasted (which for some people it would).
you can get a dui at ANY BAC content if you're driving recklessly. in my case the officer had no reason to pull me over except hoping i was underage or drunk, which is exactly what he didn't get. i passed him, saw him. why the fuck wouldn't i come to a complete stop knowing there was a cop behind me on a friday night and i had consumed an alcoholic beverage?
