car has been there since nov. '07. some drivetrain work with stronger rear end. he did that and took care of it.

feb '08, tranny was making noise so we took it in for a 6 speed swap. I won't go into that since thats a different story.

may '08 I go in to pick up my car and car isn't drivable. car started, but idle was real bad and shop said timing must have slipped.

June, I decide that since its at the shop, let them take care of it. all they need to do is rebuild the head.

3 months later, head is ready to go on.

3 weeks later, job isn't completed yet.

last friday head is finally on.

today I'm informed that parts are missing so the shop will take care of it.

I say finish it by the end of the month. is that too much to ask?

not disrespecting Atif. he has been nice, but I've been patient. so what the word?
Mind you guys that it took a month just for the valves to get in for Ferrea. They no longer mass produce them. They are just made to order.

Also the amount of machine work necessary for the head (port polish, valve job, brass valve guides, etc etc) since the old one was severely warped was the the reason for the time on the head. Machine shop did a fabulous job on the head.

Anyone ever need ANY machine work, don't think of anywhere other than Springfield Custom Machine. 703-339-0999 ask for Lloyd.

Eric, worry you not, end of the month is not a problem. Thanks for the good words brotha'
