Default Re: Talks to start at Newport News shipyard

The problem with newport news isn't the workers, it's management and the corporate culture that prioritizes profit over quality. It just KILLS morale to see a mistake, know it's a mistake, yet be forced to do it wrong just so you can get paid to do it wrong 2 more times (making profit every time, mind you, cost-plus!) and turn broken shit over to the navy, so they can pay someone to do it again to fix it. It's fucked up that newport news gets paid MORE to do it wrong 3 times than to it right once, but that's the way it works.
