ok i took about a tablespoon of oil and put it in each cylinder because my uncle said the water crushes the piston rings and they need to be reseated. after about 5 min of cranking and 20 min of it sounding like a harley going down the road everything seems to be fine. i changed oil and plugs...tranny fluid is being changed today. Motor is running strong and no signs of major engine damage. thanks for everyones help. i got lucky , or not so lucky because i was having dreams of eagle h-beam rods and forged pistons
