x19837204724983....i make the drive from va. beach to northern New Hampshire at least 4 times a year....go across chesapeak bay bridge and up 13....leave at around 11pm, if your up to it, but trust me, if you dont youll be sitting in retarded long traffic on the jersey turnpike

and enjoy the Garden State Parkway while your on, cause after that your pretty much fucked for good road until you get to connecticut.

i dont usually bring anything with me other than music, food, and drink, and like someone else said, a couple empty 2liters

**TIP**...if you do decided to go the balls out way and use the 2liters, just dont get pulled over doing 25 over on the garden state parkway with the half full bottle on the passenger side floor, its not a fun expierience and they dont take it easy...
