hehe yea. that shit has started a while ago. there even was a news coverage of drifting on the local los angeles channels about 3 months ago. drift cars are also getting a lot of coverage on magazines too. the latest is richard tang's (aka JDMRICE) 240 on the cover of import tuner. i'm sure everyone has noticed the drifting articles in every single magazine out there.
i dunno.. i think i've just gotten used to all the exposure drifting has been getting.
weavil, you could also say that road racing is a waste of tires as well or that drag racing is a waste of tire/engine etc. not saying you gotta love drifting. just saying that every type of "racing" has its own appeal and shit. you don't gotta hate it, just respect it
fwd drifting is pretty fucking sweet if done right. after watching marc rosso (i think that's who it was) drift his civic during hyperfest @ summit point this summer, i was fucking amazed.
i love this, haha. "We spotted this trend early," says Chuck Blum, head of business development for APC. "We feel like this is going to take off, so we have our teams doing demonstrations around the country." yea, so is that why they decided it'd be a good idea to develop shit for drifting AFTER the d1 usa... yea, you spotted it really early... ugh... some things never change... apc will remain apc...
