autocross?? seriously, when was the last time anyone ever heard of an unsanctioned autocross event? a bunch of cars pull up into a kroger parking lot, guys jump out, throw down cones, drive around until the cops show up and then bolt. i think drifting looks fun, and id love to learn how to do it, but i think its funny how many new drifters are coming out of the woodworks. and how many of you drifters were doing it 5 years ago? 2 years ago?
drifting is NOT a form of racing. period. it takes skill, but where is the actual race? how many of you still use the e-brake to 'drift'? i can tell you how many new drifters are going to use it....all. i cannot wait to see single cars parked on the side of embankments and in ditches because awesome little teeny boppers thought they could drift through some random turn.
