http://board.mr2faq.com , and become a member. Once you are on the MR2 forums, look for the "hybrid" MKII forum. Look up "overboostvr4". He has a SC V6 MKII that is actually working right now. The SCC article glazes over the fact that the car was not completed, and the entire setup is a big mess.
I would also suggest buying that copy of SCC in which they document the swap.
That assumes you are going to do the swap yourself. If you are going to have someone do it, either Brad or Alamo in Texas can do it for you.
I can also do the swap, but do not have the proper facilities to get it done PROPERLY (I will NOT do a hack job) in the Hampton Roads area. I will in the near future, but that is a story for another day.
I will be the first to admit that a SC V6 is VERY enjoyable to drive in comparison to the average semi-modified MR2. An extensively modified MR2 with proper tuning can be MUCH more fun to drive though. Those that scoff at a 500rwhp 3S-GTE in a mid-engined car have no idea what they are missing out on.
