No. If hes gunna do it, he should do it right.

The car hasnt been out that long and for all he knows the car becomes a ticking time bomb if you mod it without tuning it.

For example, the '02 - '03 WRXs can be lightly modded (turboback, front mount, uppipe) without a tune with no issues, but when you do that to the '04+ WRXs, you start causing problems unless its tuned.

This could or could not be the same case with this new motor in he EVO but why take the chance and find out? Im in no way telling you how to build the car, just some friendly insight.




Not to mention, you can pull more HP WITH a tune than without, which seems more up your ally seeing as though your trying to pull every ounce of HP out of that car with the mods it has.
